Professor Roger Kirby has now undertaken 300 robotic radical prostatectomies, and is the surgeon with the highest level of experience in the UK in this modern technique

Leading urologists Professor Tom McNicholas, Mr Prokar Dasgupta and Mr Christopher Anderson have joined the Centre to assist Professor Kirby with the growing number of patients with prostate problems attending for consultations and diagnostic tests. Professor Michael Kirby has also joined the team and offers specialist advice on general men's health issues and specifically cardiac risk assessment and erectile dysfunction. Professor Kirby works with Dr Amoroso to ensure that patients undergoing surgery are well prepared and fit for their surgery, minimising risk, optimising recovery and helping to ensure the best possible outcomes.
