Travelling to The Prostate Centre

The Prostate Centre is situated mid-way along Wimpole Street in London’s West End. We are on the east side just north of the junction with New Cavendish Street.

By car

Parking is relatively easy on meters nearby, for which you will need a credit card or, increasingly, a mobile phone (text or call) to pay. The advantage of using your phone is that you do not need to return to your car to “top up” – up to the limit of 4 hours.  Instructions are posted alongside every bay.

By public transport

The Prostate Centre is almost equidistant from several underground stations: Bond Street, Oxford Circus, Baker Street and Regent’s Park.  Alternatively, buses run along Oxford Street and Marylebone Road, from which you will have to walk (approximately 5-10 minutes) or take a short taxi ride.  Taxi journeys from railway stations to the north (eg Euston, Paddington) should take 10 minutes or so; from stations to the south (eg Waterloo, Victoria) they make take 20-30 minutes.

Shopping/restaurants

The large department stores of Oxford Street are a few minutes’ walk away, as is the excellent shopping venue Marylebone High Street, where you will find a great variety of places to eat.
