About The Prostate Centre

The Prostate Centre was opened officially in March 2006 by HRH the Duchess of Gloucester, patron of the charity Prostate UK (now Prostate Cancer UK).

We are based in an elegant, recently refurbished house in London’s prestigious Wimpole Street. It has a bright, spacious, modern interior and is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology. Our clinical floor, where tests, nursing and radiology take place, is clean and airy; our consultation rooms and waiting areas are calm and comfortable.

Nobody likes to have to go to the doctor, especially if they think or know there is something seriously wrong. That’s why we set out to make the Centre a place where you can feel relaxed and at home.

We wanted to create an environment that would be smart but not intimidating; friendly but professional; comfortable but efficient – a place where you can feel confident and reassured. We hope you agree that The Prostate Centre is a warm, welcoming place where you will be greeted with a smile and nothing is too much trouble.
